Wp Voice Commands on Nokia Lumia 800

| January 3, 2012 | 2 Comments

Here is a short video I made showing the voice control on the Nokia Lumia 800. (which I am sure is available for all WP devices.) I felt that Siri on the iPhone has been getting so much attention and rightfully so..Siri is more of a personal assistant as I explained in the video, but its not the 1st device to have a good voice system in place  and a few of my friends that have the Ip4s and a WP didn’t even know this function existed.

I made the video to let people know its available  on WP although not as extensive as Siri, but it works very well. Plus it  may have some features even Siri doesn’t have.  This is by no means  a comparison and I am not saying it’s any better, just informing those who don’t  know that it exists.

I forgot to say in the video, that you can enable some voice control functions even though the screen is locked, just by holding the windows symbol on the device, you would have to enable it in the speech settings on the device.
